I had a truly wonderful stay at this riad, which offered an authentic Moroccan experience. It’s not a luxury hotel, but the warmth, hospitality, and care from the staff make it truly special. A special thanks to Hajar and Abdou, whose kindness and attentiveness made my solo trip even more memorable. They organised everything for me with great attention to detail, and our long chats on the lovely rooftop terrace are moments I will cherish. I always felt comfortable, welcomed, and well looked after—almost like being part of a family. Now that I’m back, I already miss them! If you’re looking for a genuine experience and exceptional hospitality, this is the perfect place to stay.

The location is perfect for sightseeing as well as for day-trips to the desert/mountains. It's an old, traditional building, so don't expect a luxury hotel experience. Instead, immerse yourself in the traditional Marrakesh culture. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My girlfriend has dietary requirements (vegetarian and gluten-free) and they were accommodating. The manager of the hotel can help you with many day-to-day issues with your trip (like booking taxis or finding cool spots in the city). We really enjoyed talking to her!

Breakfast was great, super good location, easy to arrange transportation and activities to and from the accommodation. Very nice authentic Moroccan experience.

Excellent location - very close to Medina, but taxis can take you to within 100 metres or so of the front door. Staff is VERY friendly, accommodating, and helpful. Excellent breakfasts, however served outdoors on the rooftop terrace, so it may be chilly in the winter, even though they do have propane heaters. Nice ground floor public space, with sofas, tables, and chairs.

The staff were so accommodating. They indulged me by making me pots of boiling water for my particular tea at any time of the day/ night. They made suggestions about what to see, organised tours for us, and each of them had a lovely aura, shared stories with us. They took the time to get to know us. We felt guided in the right direction.

Everything! We had such a great time here and the best part was the people. Everyone was so kind and so accommodating. What a perfect visit in every way. Our favorite was the cooking class, arranged and hosted right at the property. Truly a highlight of our entire visit to Morocco.

Staying here is like staying at your friends house - every day you’re welcomed back in, the staff are really the star of the show here. Hajar and co are great hosts, helpful and they put on a fantastic New Year’s Eve party!! Location is great in easy walking distance of the medina and the main market square. Room itself is comfortable and is kept very clean each day, breakfast is enjoyable as is the evening meal we got offered when we arrived.

The accommodation is in a great location at the heart of the city, near to everything of interest, within walking distance. The beds are very comfortable with a separate bathroom and toilet that are very clean. The food is excellent and the service friendly and very attentive. All staff members are welcoming and kind.

Location was excellent and we easily walked to all the interesting spots like the main souk, local medina and the Jemaa el-Fna. Fabulous breakfast included and we were happy that we went with the private bathroom option that had a lovely shower with hot water. Friendly staff always smiling who made my mum feel very special with a birthday surprise , cake, candle and singing.

Their place is easy to locate and just few steps away from the street. Hajar is very patient on answering all my queries. She and the rest of the staff are very hospitable and their service are exceptional. The breakfast is really good and their mellouis which I truly love are freshly prepared. Our room is very clean and spacious. Hajar also suggested a very good place for massage which we badly needed after days of travelling.

Friendly welcome, authentic riad, great dinner if you wish and varied breakfast. Very helpful. Centrally located but yet quiet and away from the hussle and bussle of the main streets. Djaa el fna squara 5 min walking as well as the souks. Super stay !!!

The Mamahouse is in a wonderful location in the Medina 5 min walk to the Main square with the hustle and bustle. Communication before and during our stay was excellent. We also booked airport transfer, reasonable priced and great service. Rooms are basic but extremely clean. We both enjoyed the breakfast every morning. We had dinner on arrival which was a lovely tagine. Service was great and the team are very welcoming and accommodating. We will return again!! Thank you.
